Overview
NCM622 raises nickel content to 60%, giving higher energy density than NCM523 while being less sensitive to humidity and residual alkali than 8-series materials. It suits mid-to-high-end power batteries and consumer electronics and can be made via the hydroxide or carbonate route.
- Ni:Co:Mn = 6:2:2
- Capacity 170–180 mAh/g
- Compaction 3.5–3.7 g/cm³
