Overview
NCM523 is one of the most mature commercial NCM systems. With 50% nickel it balances energy density, cycling and cost, and is used in power batteries, power tools and energy storage, with strict limits on residual alkali and magnetic impurities.
- Ni:Co:Mn = 5:2:3
- Compaction 3.4–3.6 g/cm³
- Residual alkali ≤ 0.05%
