Overview
Anhydrous lithium chloride is the feedstock for electrolytic lithium metal production, and is also used in industrial dehumidification, welding fluxes, battery electrolytes and pharmaceutical synthesis. It is highly hygroscopic, so moisture and package integrity must be tightly controlled.
- LiCl ≥ 99.3%
- H₂O ≤ 0.5%
- Battery-grade moisture down to 0.1%

Battery grade is used for electrolytes or lithium metal feedstock, with tighter impurity and moisture limits.
Reference standards
Standards and values are typical references. Supply is governed by the agreed technical protocol and the batch COA.
Main applications
Packaging and storage
Packaging
25 kg aluminum-foil lined bags in steel or fiber drums, or 500 kg bulk bags.
Storage
Sealed against moisture; warehouse relative humidity should be ≤ 50%.
