Overview
n-Butyllithium is the most widely used organolithium reagent, serving as the anionic polymerization initiator for styrenic thermoplastic elastomers such as SBS/SEBS, and in lithiation and halogen-lithium exchange for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and fine chemicals.
- 2.5 M n-hexane solution
- Assay 15–16 wt%
- Low chloride, low free alkali
