Overview
LFP uses an olivine framework that delivers outstanding thermal stability and cycle life, and is the mainstream cathode for power and ESS cells. It is classified into power type and ESS type by compaction density and rate capability; carbon coating and primary particle size control are the key processes.
- 0.1C capacity 150–160 mAh/g
- Compaction 2.3–2.6 g/cm³
